Song of Ping
This is a little parody of the 23rd psalm written especially for technogeeks.
Network is my shepherd:
I shall not lack IP.
He makes me link in green alive lights.
He leads me beside ISO standards.
He restores my address.
He guides me in the paths of network address translation.
Even though I transmit through the network of the shadow of NT,
I will fear no router, for you are with me.
Your ping and your fluke, they comfort me.
You prepare an alternate route in the presence of invalid network address.
You reroute my message through the link layer.
My packets do not collide.
Surely ping and replies shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in Networks forever.
