Helen Jean Hagemann
Helen Jean Hagemann is a poet and works as a Coordinator at the Peter Cowan Writers Centre,
at Edith Cowan University in Joondalup, Perth - Western Australia. She is
studying at the university doing a BA in Writing. She has self-published
a collection of verse called "The Shadow Goddess" but has only recently
had poems from a new collection published on the Internet. As well four
poems will appear in December 98 and March 99 in print magazines. A poem
called "Permanent Aberrations" in this new collection - "Park Rider" has
recently won "runner-up" in a 1998 local PEN International Poetry
Competition. She is interested in the sensual world of the female and
experimental female writing.
